Tar, M.D., M.P.H., director of MyLAWDOC
is both a Medical Specialist and Attorney at Law. Dr. Tar
works with a medical and legal staff focusing primarily on
the medical needs of his patient population. His specialty
practice focuses on Allergic disorders (Allergy/Immunology),
Arthritic conditions (Rheumatology), and work injuries (Occupational
Medicine). He is also an Internist and a Board Certified Geriatric
Specialists. Additionally, Dr. Tar and his legal staff work
as patient advocates in the area of Elder Law and Health Law.
Elder Law deals critical life issues such as entering a nursing
home, guardianship, establishing wills and estate planning,
establishing a health care power of attorney and designing
advanced directives for terminal life care. Health Law deals
with controversies between patients and insurance carriers
over health care benefits; solving problems of outstanding
health bills with hospitals and insurance carriers; obtaining
workmen's compensation or social security benefits or motor
vehicle accident benefits. Additionally, as a physician advocate,
Dr. Tar represents physicians in administrative hospital disputes,
contract negotiations with HMOs and other health care contrators,
abusive peer review proceedings, Medicare /Medicaid Fraud
and Abuse audits, negotiations with insurance companies over
